I am very pleased: the book chapter I wrote in 2023 has now been published!

R Coding for Ecology, edited by Duccio Rocchini, is finally out.

I have an invited chapter on the ecodist package, which I updated while writing this chapter to add some features and to standardize some options.

The book contains worked examples by the authors of many of the main ecology packages, and there’s an accompanying GitHub repo.

I’m very pleased. I’ve wanted to be part of the Springer UseR! series since it started. There are so many great books there. I hope you all find something useful in this one.
